About Visit Woodstock

A city revitalized, organic, and authentic. It's a true comeback.

The Woodstock Mural located on Mill Street.

Our Story

The Woodstock Area Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) does business as Visit Woodstock GA and has been recognized by the City of Woodstock as the official destination marketing organization. It is charged with promoting our community as a travel destination and a dynamic place to live and work.

Originally created in 2006 to promote tourism, conventions, and tradeshows, it was officially established as a 501(c)6 organization in 2020, qualifying it to receive the conventions, tradeshows, and tourism product development allocations from the city’s 8% hotel/motel occupancy tax collections.
