The Reeves House Visual Arts Center boasts an expansive open-plan exhibition space, a large education studio for art classes, and a coffee shop/wine bar. Their art exhibits rotate every 8 weeks and feature a wide variety of compelling art from local to international, and emerging to established. They also offer robust public programming with a variety of events.
A function of the Woodstock Downtown Development Authority (DDA), Made Mercantile is a creative collaboration space that allows retail makers the opportunity to produce their product, test them in a retail setting and collaborate with other retail makers with one goal in common: to incubate business owners within Woodstock who are interested in developing consumer products to market at a larger scale.
This is much more than just a visitors center. In fact, one could argue that within the walls of the century-old Dean’s Store exists a visitors center, a museum, a library, an art gallery, a concert hall, a literary lounge, a gathering place, a time capsule. Hosting The Lantern Series, Art on the Green and many other festivals and celebrations, the Woodstock Arts Event Green is a central gathering place of Woodstock’s vibrant community. The Woodstock Arts event green is located at the Towne Lake Pass trailhead and hosts several pieces of public art.
