Brand Ambassador / Tourism Information Assistant
Visit Woodstock GA is seeking part-time Tourism Information Assistants to work at the Woodstock Visitors Center and at certain events around the Woodstock area. Applicants must have availability to work weekend and evening hours on a consistent basis. Successful candidates will need to meet all requirements for employment by the City of Woodstock, Georgia.

JOB SUMMARY
Assists with tourism and marketing related activities of the Woodstock Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB), provides support with welcoming visitors and offering related information at the Woodstock Visitors Center, and preserves historical records and artifacts at the Visitors Center.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience:
Requires High School diploma or equivalent; one (1) year of related work experience in sales, marketing, administration, tourism, or an entrepreneurial setting; or equivalent combination of education and experience. An Associate or higher degree in a related field preferred.
Licenses or Certifications:
Requires a valid State of Georgia driver’s license.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The work is sedentary work and requires exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Additionally, the following physical abilities are required: feeling, handling, hearing, reaching, talking, and visual acuity.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The noise level in the office work environment is usually quiet. Requires working a flexible schedule to meet the demands of a growing organization.
